What is Connected Innovation?

The world is facing significant economic and environmental challenges and no one sector has the answers. Complex problems cannot be tackled without collaboration and shared perspectives. To achieve meaningful, solution-focused innovation, the academic, public, and private sectors must come together and share ideas, talent, and technologies.

Connected Innovation is making this happen by linking together incubators, innovation hubs, universities, research institutes, and cluster networks across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. They connect the dots to drive innovation in the East, building relationships between our world-leading research and business base, and unlocking support and investment opportunities for all businesses driving innovation in the region.

How can Connected Innovation Support a Business?

Connected Innovation is funded by Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex County Councils. The team report into the Norfolk & Suffolk Innovation Board and the Essex Innovation Leaders Forum.

Their team have extensive experience working with innovative businesses across the East of England and an unrivalled knowledge of the region’s sectoral and investment opportunities. By forging strong relationships between innovation hubs, cluster networks, academia and business support partners (including access to finance and investment), they have helped to shape the innovation landscape in the East of England.
